While Bitcoin is responsible for starting the crypto currency craze in 2009, there are hundreds of forms of crypto currency available today. These run the gamut from investment-like currencies such as Bitcoin to specialized tokens such as Pot Coin that are used for a singular type of transaction.
Obverse design elements on these 1 oz Cardano Silver Rounds include the logo of Cardano. The symbol of Cardano is a mesmerizing combination of circles arranged in a hexagon at the center with expanding rings of smaller circles emanating out around it. Cardano is a reference to Gerolamo Cardano, an Italian mathematician, physician, and astrologer.
Reverse visuals on the Crypto Commemorative Cardano Silver Round focus on the common design of the series. The design element featured here has been used on all of the rounds in the Crypto Commemorative Series and showcases a digital design theme that was first used in 2011 on the first crypto-themed silver rounds.
