Obverse (Front) The obverse features the iconic Sunshine Mining corporate logo: a majestic bald eagle in mid-flight, wings outstretched, set against a stylized rising sun. Established in the historic Coeur d'Alene Mining District of Idaho, the Sunshine Mining Company was once one of the largest silver producers in United States history.
