Australian Silver Kookaburra coins debuted in 1990 and the first Lunar Series coins arrived in 1996. These 2017 Australian Silver Kookaburra Rooster Privy coins combine the history of both programs with the 28th design in the Silver Kookaburra collection bearing a unique privy mark from the Lunar Series II program’s 10th release in 2017.

All 2017 1 oz Australian Silver Kookaburra Rooster Privy Coins in this product listing feature an individual protective capsule. The reverse side of the 2017 Silver Kookaburra bears the unique privy mark.

On the reverse of 2017 Australian Silver Kookaburra Rooster Privy Coins is the image of two kookaburras. The largest member of the kingfisher species, these kookaburras are depicted sitting together on the top of a wooden fence. You can see the details in the design down to the grain of the wood used in the fencing and the flathead screws that hold it in place. Just off the beak of the larger kookaburra and above the head of the smaller one, there is a small Rooster Privy that features a rooster in left-profile as it greets a new day with its squawk.

The obverse of 2017 1 oz Australian Silver Kookaburra coins includes the right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is featured here in the fourth-generation British coin design created in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley. This was the fifth design used on Australian coins and remained in circulation through 2018.

Customer Reviews

"Amazing service and hospitality from the staff at IDC! Jason was so attentive and patient in our search for our ideal watches. He took us through several options, had us try every watch we were interested in, took our information and continued searching for options. A few hours later, we had our watches on hold and ready for pick up! He located a watch that I LOVE, and a unique piece for my husband. We are grateful to have found our new Jeweler for many pieces to come!"
